Itinerary of the tour

Day 1

Drive down to or arrive at Mangalore or Udupi by train
Reach the property which is situated on a river island with the river on three sides. It is 90 minutes from Mangalore airport and 6 kms from Udupi Railway Station.
Explore the property and have some leisure time with family
Visit a beautiful Malpe beach (half an hour distance from the property)
Make the most of your stay here by exploring the backwaters in a private speedboat.
Experience spectacular views of the clear water and colourful sunsets
Have your own barbeque at the deck
Have dinner and call it a night

Accommodation

It’s a beautiful villa located on a river island with the river on three sides. You can experience romantic candle light dinner with a mesmerising view from the deck.

Day 2

Have breakfast and take an auto rickshaw drive in local attire to visit Krishna Temple and Durga Parameshwari temple
Eat Goli Baji at Mitra Samaj
Come back to the property and take some rest
Leave the property at 4pm Visit Maravanthe Beach which is one of Karnataka’s most beautiful beaches. NH-66 runs next to the beach and the Suparnika River flows on the other side of the road, creating a spectacular scenery.
You can have dinner at any local food joint or at the property when you come back.

Day 3

Have breakfast and leave for St. Mary’s island, the land where Vasco Da Gama set his first foot. It’s a geological treasure and hosts some of the most beautiful beaches in the country.
You can have your lunch near island or you can start for Bhatkal, where we are going to visit Murdeshwar Temple. Before that you can have lunch in Hotel Vinayak, Bhatkal
Murdeshwar is a town in Bhatkal Taluk which is famous for the world’s second tallest Shiva statue, the town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murdeshwar Temple
Come back to the property, have dinner and take rest

Day 4

Have early breakfast and check out
Leave for Gokarna also known as ‘Dakshina Kashi’ (Kashi of the South) (Almost 4 hrs journey from Udupi).
Visit Om beach on the way and have food at Namaste Café, one of the most picturesque cafes in Gokarna offering finger licking delicious food, situated right on the Om Beach
Check in at the property Near Ankola. Temples, beaches, scenic Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea is all that Ankola shares in common with Gokarna
Take some rest in the afternoon
Evening at 4 pm go to visit Halakki Gowda Tribe and get to know about their community
Witness the magical sight of bioluminescent phytoplankton in the waters at night but the water currents play major role in sighting
Have dinner and call it a night

Accommodation

20 cottages spread across the land, flowing along the terrain rich with indigenous plants, trees and creepers, home to many exotic birds and insects. Built with ubiquitous laterite rocks and covered over with grass mats, the cottages are naturally cool for a blissful siesta on those hot afternoons.

Day 5

Get up very early in the morning and get ready to visit Mahabaleshwar Temple in Gokarna.
The Mahabaleshwar Temple, Gokarna plays a fundamental role in bequeathing beach town Gokarna the reputation of a pilgrimage center (Dresses Not Allowed: Jeans, trousers, shorts, shirt, pant, vest, hat, cap and coat. Allowed Men: Dhoti, Women: Saree, Salwar suit)
Come back to the property, have breakfast and check out for our next destination, Karwar
Have your Lunch at the Deck, the freshest catch and Chef Sundar’s interpretations of Konkani, Indian and Continental cuisine
Explore the property and have some ME time
Go for an hour cruise around the island at sunset, accompanied by the Naturalist. Have a drink & snacks, enjoy a leisurely tour of islands in the vicinity, the exotic life in the sea below and other fascinating sights. Time: 5.30-6.30PM
Come back and have some leisure time
Have dinner at the Beach Bar and all it a night

The property gives you a mind boggling view, mouth watering food with spacious cabins on the island, with large balconies that invite you to sweeping views of the sea.

Day 6

Get up and get ready to explore the lush surroundings or simply take in the many beautiful views on the nature trail walk with a naturalist
Come back, have breakfast and freshen up
Go for a delightful and unique one hour cruise to a spot close to the island to sit in silence and watch the dolphins in their natural, wild habitat
Have lunch and spend some leisure time with your family near infinity pool
In the evening go for the lighthouse tour which involves a leisurely boat ride to the neighbouring island of Devgad. The French lighthouse dates back to 1934 and is manned by the only two inhabitants of the island
You can enjoy water sports on the private beach of the property here (optional)
Come back to the property have dinner and call it a night

Get up and have early breakfast

freshen up and get ready to visit a Narasimha Temple on the island. Built a top Lord Vishnu’s incarnation Narasimha. Trekking is a part of the route to reach here (optional)

Come back, check out from the property and start your journey back home
