About the activity:

• Report at the scuba diving centre at 6:30 AM and meet with your scuba diving instructor. (Change of timing will be communicated directly to you prior to that.)
• There is training which includes a briefing about scuba diving, a dive site and an introduction to scuba equipment. You will be given pool training for specific skills for diving.
• After assembling at the dive centre and change into your dive suits and reach the shore in the vehicles arranged by the operator.
• Experience a round-trip boat ride for 45 minutes with some delicious snacks to and from the dive site 6 km offshore.
• Ocean dive 1-on-1 with experienced dive professionals. The time underwater is unlimited on 1 air tank (on average between 30 to 45 minutes).
• The boat rides back to the shore and from there back to the dive centre in 10 minutes.
• After changing, you will receive a certificate of participation for joining a scuba experience conducted under international safety guidelines and standards by PADI, the world’s market leader in scuba diving.
• Photos and videos are complementary and can be collected from the dive centre.

The meetup location i.e. Eden beach, Chinna Veerampattinam is 8.7 km away from the main city of Pondicherry and is a 23-minute drive away.

• Nearest Airport: Pondicherry airport is just a 10-minute drive away from the beach.
• Nearest Railway Station: The Pondicherry railway station is approximately a 20-minute drive away.

Know Before You Go for Scuba Diving In Pondicherry

• The instructor reserves the right to reject any participant deemed unfit to be part of the activity.
• The activity might be delayed or postponed due to weather conditions. In such a scenario, the next best possible time slot will be informed.
• For Scuba Diving: 10 years old can perform the activity.
• For Snorkeling: 8 years old can perform the activity.
• The training can be booked for the day before or for the same morning prior to the ocean dive.
• It is suggested that there should be a minimum of 12-hour gap between the scuba diving, and the flight that you have to catch or else you might be susceptible to decompression sickness, or altitude and depth-related sickness that can affect your health.
• For safety purposes, this activity is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
• Participants are requested to report at the venue at least 30 minutes prior to their chosen time slot. Timings must be strictly followed, as the activity is a time constraint.
• ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest upon arrival. A PAN card will not be considered a valid address proof.
• All foreign nationals must share their passport and visa details upon arrival.
• Avoid consuming heavy food or alcoholic beverages before and after scuba diving in Puducherry.
