Itinerary of the tour

Day 1

  • Arrive at Calicut Airport/Railway Station, where you will be escorted to the transportation by the tour director (Only for Group Tours).
  • Meet and greet and further proceed to Vythiri.
  • On the way hear the stories of Malabar by the tour director (Only for Group Tours).
  • Arrive at your stay right at the foothills of Chembra peak.
  • Have your Lunch and Rest.
  • Go for a Guided bird watching tour.
  • Mesmerise yourself with Tribal dance performed by the locals accompanied by bonfire (Only for Group Tours).
  • Spend the beautiful evening with Barbeque followed by Dinner.

Located on a hillock, it enjoys a 360 degree view of the surrounding hills and valleys covered with evergreen tropical rain forests in different hues of green. In close vicinity of Chembra peak, the tallest in Wayanad.

Day 2

  • Have your breakfast in the morning.
  • Go for a guided trek to the nearby waterfall (3 hours).
  • Have your Lunch by the waterfall (Only for Group Tours).
  • Return to your stay and rest.
  • Take a walk through the trails outside the property to explore the landscape.

  • Visit Krishnan’s home to understand the Old age process of Bamboo crafting.
  • Visit Raman’s farm to understand Organic farming of 38 varieties of Indigenous rice.
  • Visit Raman’s house for a meal comprising of traditional wayanadan rice and savoury dishes on plantain leaf.
  • Visit Chami and his family, they will nurture your artistic skills by showing you how to mould wet clay into beautiful shapes.
  • Further visit Valliyoorkavu temple one of the most important temple in Wayanad where slave trade was practiced during medieval times.
  • Enroute enjoy Coffee and Uniyappam- a local sweet at a local joint (Only for Group Tours).
  • In the evening check in to your Rustic stay near the Kabini Forest Reserve.
  • Relish your evening dinner alongside campfire and soothing music.

  • Wake up early morning for a Safari to Nagarhole forest.

  • Leave for Ancient Thirunelli Vishnu Temple .
  • Worship at Temple in traditional attire.
  • Take a dip in holy temple pond.
  • Return to your stay and rejuvenate yourself with some ME Time.
  • Take an evening dinner and call it a night.

  • Proceed towards Coorg.
  • Arrive at your farm stay surrounded with coffee and rice plantation.
