Itinerary of the tour

Day 1

Arrive at Madurai Airport, where you will be greeted with a welcome drink, You will be escorted to the transportation by the tour director (Only for Group Tours).
Leave the Airport for a 30 mins drive to your hotel.
Check in at the hotel in Madurai.
Visit Meenakshi Temple. Eat some good Idlis at Murugan.
Have your Lunch & Rest.
Walking tour of Madurai for 3 hrs, Walk through the ancient city of Madurai and chance upon her stories.
Return to your stay.

Day 2

Have your Breakfast and Checkout
Start for Rameshwaram in the morning and see the train tracks on the sea while reaching Madurai.
Have your Lunch and start for your journey back to Kanadukattan a small village in chettinad region.
After returning rejuvenate yourself with some ME Time.
Have your Dinner and call it a night.

Day 3

Have your Breakfast and leave to explore in and around Visalam, Chettinad snacks, Chettinad and made tile factory, Antique market and temple.
You will be taken by the hotel person to show the heritage and diversity of the place.
In the evening have a bullock cart ride.
Here you will have breakfast in the garden, lunch in the kitchen and Dinner on the terrace.
Enjoy the Chettinad food. It is not about spices but the slow cooking process without direct fire.
Have your Dinner and call it a night.

Day 4

Have your Breakfast and Checkout in a traditional Tamil attire. (You can shop the same at store inside Visalam).
Reach Bhiradeshwar temple in Tanjore one of the UNESCO world heritage sites (Closes at 11 AM).
Visit Chidambaram Temple and after darshan head towards Kumbhakonam. Although there are lots of temple around most of them are of same kind of architecture as Tanjore. Recommendation would be enjoying the resort and food and leisure activities at the place.
Have your Sadya Lunch and Rest.
In the evening mesmerize yourself with Tamil Nadu’s Classical Dance Show (Only for Group Tours)
Have your Dinner and call it a night.

Day 5

Have your Breakfast and start your journey towards Pondicherry an erstwhile French colony.
On the way go for Chidambaram temple visit as it is different from the rest of the temples.
In the afternoon reach Pondicherry. Go to Auroville. See the Matrimandir from view Point and register yourself for a meditation batch (30 Minutes) for the next day and comeback.
Have your Lunch at Solar Kitchen in Auroville & Rest.
Evening go for cycling or walking along the shore and also have a peaceful seating at the Aurobindo ashram which is nearby.
Return to your stay and rejuvenate yourself with some ME Time.
Have your Dinner and call it a night.
